一个比较有意思的内容。

I just got off a CRF450'03 and onto a YZ450'04. The CRF was giving lots of valve clearance issues, even after I changed
to the Kibblewhite stainless values. I rode the CRF for about 15 months, been on the YZ for about 2 months.
I prefer the YZ motor. It's power delivery is softer in the
row rpm range which helps get the bike moving out of corners. It also revs out better at the high end. I prefer the Honda head geometry. It was more forgiving than the YZ when turning, especially under brakes. Both are great bikes in my opinion, but I got off the Honda primarily because of its poor reliability. I'm not saying they are all unreliable, but I am saying it was easy the worst Honda I've owned in 20 years of riding MX.

关于气门的小文章,讲的比较深入。

The CRF450R has valve problems, unlike the YZ450F.

The CRF doesn't have valve problems. It's valve train certainly isn't prone to failure. It's valve train does have a shorter service life due to the inherent design (2 intake valves vs. 3 intake valves). The YZ-F's 3 intake valves are able to flow the same amount, but at a lower lift than the CRF's 2 intake valves. This places less stress on valve components.

Yamaha is the only manufacturer to offer a 5 valve head. They have been for a long time (on their sportbikes - late 80;s I believe). Remember the old Genisis motors? This is a credit to Yamaha's inginuity. It is a very successful design.

03.04.05.07年的YZ450之间的区别:

The 04 is everything the 03 is but better. All the mods people were doing to the 03 (heavier flywheel, clutch fix) are stock on the 04 without taking the fun out of it. The 05 is very electric with no hit but still every bit as fast as the 03/04. The 07 motor is very smooth on bottom to mid almost week feeling but has a nice mid to top rush. The five speed on the 07 smooths it out from the earlier years and is more versatile but unless I needed extremely low speed or high speeds I actually prefer the 4 speed. In a drag race with equal riders the finishing order would be 07,04,05,03 but they are all so close it is always going to be rider dependent.

原来一直想搞个进口的专业车玩,但自己财力有限,本人又经常跑一些中短途(400公里内)旅游,看了铁骑网志中的08年wr250介绍,奶奶滴,试车报告中那些鬼子骑WR250在场地的表现,哎,车是一方面,关键还是骑车人的表现,幻想自己那天能有这样的水平就好了。比较了一下,又能下场地兼顾林道,又能跑跑长途,机器又耐磨的,wr是首选了。

如果我了解,我尽量提供一些。
(我都是纸上谈兵的,哈,主要是来源于国外车友对车的评价。由于国情差别,国外车友一个人拥有多辆450很正常,所以这些车的常识他们比我们丰富的太多了。)

主题:YZ450的年代区分:
1.第一代:
YZ400F - 1998-2000
车重为113.475公斤。
2.第二代:
YZ426F - 2000-2002

钛合金气门,气门耐用性大大提高。
2002款重新修正了数字点火MAP表,从此启动变的非常容易。
3.第三代:
YZ450F - 2003-2005
4个档位,车重降为106公斤。
4.第四代:
YZ450F 2006-2009
5个档位,超过300个部件改进或更改了,动力更平顺。
5.第五代:
2010款YZ450的谍照和以前差别很大,电喷,据说发动机的空滤和排气位置正好完全相反。


要买新款的车友,再等两个月吧,等2010款。
如果买老款,最佳购买车是第四代,车重降了,动力平顺,启动容易。
如果不介意四档的话,第三代也是可以考虑。
个人意见,不购买2001款以前的,启动性不好,车比较重。

干重为114KG,加油后重量为123KG,机油容量为1.7升。
油箱为12升,备用容量为4.5升。
第二代:
WR426F  -2001-2002
干重由114KG降为112.5KG,加油后车重为121.5KG
油箱为8升,备用容量为1.4升。
第三代:
WR450F  -2003-2006
活塞行程由以前的60.1改为63.4mm,增加电启动,
机油容量为1.2升。
油箱为10升,备用容量为1.2升。
第四代:  
WR450F   -2007-2010
改为铝合金车架,压缩比也由12.5:1 改为12.3:1
油箱为8升,备用容量为1.1升。
车加油后重为120KG

我也一直对WR很感兴趣,就是资金有限,不然肯定拿下新款了。不过既然2010款的快出来了。先看看再说了。
